Red Bull AdrenaLAN returns with online esports tournaments

Red Bull AdrenaLAN just announced that it’s back for the third year to bring together gamers and esports fans across Canada.

Unlike Red Bull AdrenaLAN’s previous events, this one will be moving online. Gamers will be able to duke it out against each other in various tournaments with a prize pool over $30,000. Toronto Ultra, for example, will be playing in a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament. Players who sign up for this event will get a chance to test their skills against the Canadian Call of Duty team.

Three Call of Duty: Warzone lobbies will be present and have 38 teams in each of them. As for the prize, the Red Bull AdrenaLAN announcement notes that they will be cash bounties if a team can best a Toronto Ultra player. If a Warzone victory gets secured, then $1,000 will also be available to the winners.

For those into a different type of game, the upcoming Fall Guys tournament may just be up their alley. David “GrandPooBear” Hunt, who is known as a speedrunner and streamer, will be putting on the FallMania event. This year’s FallMania will consist of 16 legendary players who will compete for $5,000 and the Crown of the North title.

Indie game showcases will also be happening during Red Bull AdrenaLAN. Games such as Killer Queen Black, for example, will get to be in the spotlight. Meanwhile, the Canadian developers behind Mighty Fight Federation will have the opportunity to shine.
